2.5.6 Problem?

Seemingly since the 2.5.6 update yesterday, I've been unable to get to certain pages on the Bamboo Extensions area of the Atlassian Confluence site.

Going to these pages never returns anything other than an eventual (several minutes later) error page saying the site is down for maintenance:

http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMEXT/Coverage+Plugin

Goint to this page returns the page immediately:

http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMEXT/Coverage+Plugin

If it matters, I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.6.

I've been having problems accessing confluence.atlassian.com today as well. In my case, the site is accessible for a while (all pages), but later on it keeps on timing out or is really slow (all pages). This has been going on the whole day today.

I also noticed that jira.atlassian.com was having the same issues for a moment earlier in the day (PT).

weird

Atlassians, are you seeing these issues as well? Is this related to the 2.5.6 update? Are you being DoS-ed?

Yeah, I've been getting "Down for maintenance" messages today as well...

Hi everybody,

thanks for reporting the issues with confluence.atlassian.com. It should be running fine now.

The problem was not due to an issue with the new version. The developer.atlassian.com/jira server was not responding to requests from the jira issues macro. This caused the pages mentioned to time out, and subsequently made the server very slow.

There is clearly a problem with the jiraissues macro not being robust enough.
